The supplies for the first month of a baby’s life can cost parents over $900 and continue to cost nearly $100 a month in diapers alone, until a child is potty trained between 24-36 months. Without adequate diaper supply children cannot go to childcare without childcare, parents cannot go to school or work; 1 in 3 moms struggle with diaper needs. There is currently no government agency that provides parents help with diapers and this is why TryLife Center gives out close to 20,000 diapers a year.
TryLife Center is able to distribute these diapers due to generous contributions of diapers and wipes from our community. Keeping baby dry and clean is always a priority and all little ones receive a monthly allotment of diapers and wipes.
Churches, clubs, schools and individuals hold diaper and wipe drives and donate these much needed items to TryLife Center so that we can distribute them to nearly 330 clients seen a year. We are always in need of wipes and diapers in sizes 3, 4, 5 and 6.
