What We Do
TryLife Center’s comprehensive and free Learn to Earn program provides parents with education, one-on-one support, information/referrals, and material assistance. By participating in our education and support services, you can earn points that can be spent on material items for you and your family. Education
TryLife Center offers a variety of educational services, catered to your needs. Through one-on-one education sessions, support groups, or group classes, you can learn and discuss the ins and outs of topics including:
- Pregnancy, Abortion, Adoption, & Parenting
- Pregnancy Care & Expectations
- Fetal Development
- Childbirth
- Postpartum & PPD
- Child Care & Parenting
- Life Skills
- STD Risks/Info & Sexual Health
Individualized Support
TryLife Center offers one-on-one support that is tailored to your needs, including:
Pregnancy support: pregnancy help and information, discussion about options, help figuring out how to share the news with family/friends, and more.
Parenting support: parenting help and information, parenting support through different ages and stages, help developing healthy co-parenting relationships, and more.
Life skills support: assistance with developing a budget or plan for paying off debt, understanding complicated forms, building healthy habits, creating a healthy home environment, understanding proper nutrition, and more.
Information/Referrals: help locating and connecting with other community resources to meet your family’s needs (WIC, employment, housing, mental or behavioral health treatment, etc.)
Material Assistance
As you participate in education and/or support services, you earn “points” to spend on material items for you and your family. We carry new and gently used items for moms, dads, and kids, which include:
- Diapers or Training Pants
- Wipes
- Formula, baby food, Pedialyte
- Baby & Kids clothing
- Maternity clothing and supplies
- Toys
- Baby furniture
- Car seats and booster seats
- and more!
Eligibility
To be eligible for this program, you must be the biological or legal parent of a child under 3 years old (this includes pregnant or expecting parents). Non-biological parents need to provide proof of guardianship/custody. This policy is in place to ensure that everyone is treated fairly. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, sex, age, income, marital status, citizenship or immigration status, location, or personal identity.
